Rental Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation.

All cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your delivery date. A full refund will be issued. Full rental rates will be charged if cancelled after 24 hours before the event, no exceptions. We do not guarantee a specific arrival time due to the unique nature of each set up, only a window of time.

Please water your yard in the days leading up to your delivery if it has not rained the week before. Also, please turn off your sprinklers during the duration of the greeting. If you have any outdoor pets, please make sure they are contained for the entire duration of the greeting. You will be responsible for signs damaged by your pets.

Someone in the household MUST BE NOTIFIED that we will be on the property. We may be at your property early morning or evening, so please advise them to leave a light on outside, so we can identify the address easily.

Do not move, mow/edge around or take down the yard sign display. If you have a lawn service, please inform them of this policy.  Any damage to signs will result in charges to the renter.

Please do not remove our signs from your lawn for any reason. If they need to be taken down early, contact us and we will come remove our signs.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, We will only set up in the front yard and on grassy areas located in the front yard. We cannot put our signs in pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, thick landscaping, hard packed soil that has been used as a driveway.

If any local ordinances are required for temporary lawn signs, you will be responsible for making that determination and securing any required consents from your municipality. Please check with your city hall for Lawn decoration ordinances.

For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the sign display. Our items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a person leaning, sitting or playing on it. We will not be held liable for injuries or damage due to people playing on or near our yard signs.

Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of the display. Balloons are unpredictable in the wind and can cause damage to our signs.

We may photograph your sign for use on our social media pages and congratulate the recipient. While we encourage you to pose next to the display for photographs, do not pull the signs from the ground or step on the metal bars holding them in place.

In the event of inclement weather, we will not be able to set up any lawn displays. We will contact you in these instances.

If we are unable to set up your greeting because of severe weather, you will receive a full refund. This would include lightning, thunderstorms, snowstorms, frozen ground, heavy rain, ice, heavy wind and any other weather conditions that would put us or our lawn greeting display in harm’s way.

Letter the Lawn LLC and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental. All signs are property of Letter the Lawn LLC. Damage or loss of signs due to weather related events is not your responsibility. However, you are otherwise responsible for any damaged or missing signs. The cost of each missing or damaged letter is $30 each.

We will place a small sign in your yard with our company contact information. This sign is unobtrusive and lets the neighbors know who to contact to get our services. Please do not move or hide it.

Agreement is in effect for the duration of the rental process as defined by the effective dates of the Rental Agreement.
